The sad fact is that they do this to keep bad players in a losing streak from getting frustrated and quitting the game altogether. They give them a bot game that can be easily won and encourage them to keep going. It’s smart business on their part but populated ranked with lousy players. That being said, I try to never play unless it it’s with friends. HOWEVER, I populated my friends list with all of those SoloQ games where there WERE team players and we wrecked the other team. So don’t assume that just because there is team cohesiveness, it’s a 5 person team against SoloQers. In my personal experience, I’ve found a team of 5 against SoloQ extremely, extremely rare. Usually it’s 3 against 5.
