Turn skipping after canceling attack

I was about to attack and I got the warning that I haven't played an energy this turn, I decided to double check if it was worth it to play the energy and when I went back to try to use my attack my turn skipped and my active pokemon got stucked in the using an ability animation. Next turn my pokemon was still stucked, I could only see the card info if I tapped it but could not drag it to the active spot nor attack, I had no other choice but to concede from a winning position.
