Mew ex can hit Alolan Vulpix VSTAR through snow mirage

Mew ex hit Alolan Vulpix VSTAR with genome hacking, copying snow mirage after I'd already used it. As mew ex has an ability it shouldn't be able to do damage. The only benched Pokémon were Arceus V and Duraludon VMAX, and the stadium in play was lost city. None of this should have allowed mew to hit vulpix

It's the attack that let it hit. The first line of Snow Mirage says that its damage isn't affected by effects on the defending Pokémon. That means that it can ignore its own effect. Working as intended, not a bug.

Ah ok thanks, I'd missed that part as I've not needed to hit through an effect yet
