I hate the system that's in play I haven't ever played this game not even irl. I wanted to try it, but casually playing I get absolutely destroyed every match not even just because I'm new. There several people that are just blazing through their deck and smacking down VR and ex pokemon eft and right when I actually can play they just completely out damage me. I wish there were NPC so I could at least practice and still rewards so I can actually get more cards instead of forcing myself to play and lose constantly. At least put me up against beginners too sheesh!

@henry0060 Use one of the premade decks instead of trying to make your own.

@TechHog I am using the premade decks just ain't going well n I don't have hink a premade deck can do much if the enemies has a bunch of ex n VR out in just one turn. Had one match were they used torterra n had it stacked with grass type to the point it one shorted everything I had n I couldn't just DPS it out before losing

The thing ive noticed, and i dont know if its happening to anyone else, is no matter what type of deck i use the person they match me with is always the element that beats mine I played with a water deck for 5 games and every one else had grass so i switched to fire for 5 more games and everyone used water so then i started switching every other game from psychic to water to electric and EVERY SINGLE TIME i had the deck disadvantage

Gotta love having a "bad matchmaking" complaint in literally every competitive game to date without fail… you're all talking about opponents having unfair card collections and I'm coming in completely new and ranking up with a starter deck…
And no you aren't being put against type disadvantage in every match. Remember that there is another human on the other side of the screen, the game isn't intentionally hating on you in particular because that would mean someone else is intentionally being favored. Why do you think the game just picks you specifically to always give bad matchups?
Please just learn the game and don't make excuses for every loss, you can't expect to automatically be a pro when you just start at something.
