Thoughts on the lack of news for DLC, and the effects it has on Reg E

Regulation D will appear at worlds and 1 US based Regional and 2 foreign Regionals before we enter the last quarter of the year with Regulation E. Reg D was always in a bad position because of it appearing at Worlds to wrap up 2023. Regulation E, however, is in an even worse place on speculation for the competitive scene, for those planning ahead, for 2024.

Regulation E has not been officially announced in any capacity, and the days are drawing ever closer to the time in which the DLC Pack 1- The Teal Mask will debut. If the DLC is released any time before October, we can speculate that DLC Pack 1- The Teal Mask will be included in some way in Regulation E and the rest of the 2023 year. If it releases any time In October, we'll be stuck with an odd Regulation to the end of the year, as all Pokémon available on the physical game are present (outside obviously legendaries or mythicals/ Walk Wake+ Iron Leaves).

With everything riding on the end of the Worlds 2023 News announcement following the Championship match, we really have to wonder what will happen. Will we have the Pack 1 announcement? Will we have a mish-mash mix up Regulation E? Will legendaries be added as a surprise? The pre-order Zoroark-H ends Halloween this year, and that is still an indicator that the DLC update may not be out till November.

Uncertainty makes preparing for future regulations cumbersome. Thoughts?
