Fire weakness for Metal pokemon does not take effect

I have seen this in a couple of games now where I have a fire type pokemon and the opponent's basic metal pokemon does not take 2x damage for my fire attacks.

Thanks for the reply. My mistake. I was thinking that the damage for 20 was treated differently than the damage done when Moltres has damage.
