Which Region Should Get a Legends Game Next?

I think Johto or Kalos could have neat Legends games.

    Johto and Unova have been anticipated future Legends games

    Galar would make for an interesting one, the whole darkest day story would be good to see as a legends game.

    Johto would make the most sense because of Celebi. Though if they really wanted to they could force any region into this new style of game. Another thing to consider is how recently we've visited each region. Here's a breakdown of each region and their latest appearance.

    Kanto: LGPE (2018)

    Johto: HGSS ( 2009)

    Hoenn: ORAS (2014)

    Sinnoh: BDSP, Legends

    Unova: B2W2 (2012)

    Kalos: XY (2013)


    The region we've spent the longest without revisiting was previously Sinnoh but is now Johto. I would expect some sort of Johto game to be next in the rotation.

    Johto makes the most sense, given that it is also rich in myths and legends, and key events happened in the past.

    But why does it have to follow the same narrative? Why not a game set in the future? Or a new region entirely, perhaps one isolated from the rest of the world that doesn't have access to most modern Pokémon facilities?
