Bug: Ting-Lu Ex and Genesect v

I encountered a bug that is an issue when facing  Genesect V. I had Ting-Lu as my active, all  Genesect V on my opponents bench where damaged. There was no Path to the Peak in play or Canceling Cologne used the entire match.

Despite this my opponent was able to keep using Fusion Strike System turn after turn. As it is a damaged Pokemon V it's ability should not activate as it is not a Pokemon EX.

I've encountered this bug several times when playing vs a Mew deck and it ultimately results as the game allowing the Mew player to cheat.

They likely had fusion strike energy attached to genesect

Fusion Strike Energy protects the Pokémon it's attached to from the effects of Abilities, including Ting-Lu ex's. That's the reason why Spiritomb didn't kill Mew and why everyone stopped playing DTE Mew. You should have been questioning why they were attaching to Genesect. Remember to read all cards and use the status arrows before assuming anything is a glitch.

They only had a double colorless energy in play on Mew, it was an older list.

I highly doubt that you encountered multiple people playing DTE Mew in the current format.
