What is your favorite region?

I'm gonna get downvoted for this, and I know you didn't ask but Alola is my least favorite by far. Most of the environments just feel like hallways.

Hoenn and Unova are my favorites. I actually miss underwater exploration. Anyway, these 2 regions are exceptionally well constructed in regards to being fun to explore and tying into the lore. Great caves, routes, buildings, and plenty of NPCs that will tell you interesting things.

And Paldea is one I'd like to rank higher but I won't because it's held back by a lack of buildings and NPCs to interact with. That ended up hurting my enjoyment of the game more than I would have imagined.

Alola and Galar, I get alot of hate for liking Galar though, I feel the game had alot of the good old aspects of the older gens, with newer ones mixed in there. And for Alola, it was my first game, I have so many memories on it. Sad my DS can't play the game anymore..
