Super rod and cresselia

So after using super rod to retrieve cresselia from the discard pile if you play cresselia it bugs out and won’t allow you to use gardevoir ex’s ability to attach any energy cards from the discard pile to the cresselia and sometimes even if you attach an energy from your hand it still won’t let you attack
