Card effects interacting with the discard pile not revealing information

Any interaction within the discard pile is public knowledge. There are many cards that interact with the discard pile that do not display this information, or have an associated animation that is too fast. Klara and super rod for example are too quick or don't even really show the Pokémon and energy recovered. Regidrago Vstar's apex dragon attack does not announce which attack is being used - causing me to have to look at the persistent board state effects to know which attack it might have used.

The lack of a gameplay log does not help this.
