I spent the last hour looking for a match with no luck. I’d wait five min then retry. For an hour. I am very frustrated.

I submitted a ticket for this, I encourage other people that are having the same issue to also submit a ticket.

Try logging out then logging back in, seems to help.

For others to test; whilst matchmaking if you notice the cancel button disappear and reappear I think that it's worth hitting cancel and start again. I think that in this case you've been paired but the game was unable to connect you so it sticks you back in the queue but you end up in limbo.
This needs more testing but should mean that you're waiting a minute or two rather than hours at a time.
