Hand bug during a casual match

While playing in a casual match. I used dynamotor to attach an energy to a benched raikou and then used a forest seal stone to pull a drapion V. I benched the Drapion V and went to use a switch cart to move it to the active. No cards in my hand could be pulled.

Switch Cart can only be used if your Active Pokémon is a Basic.
Your Pokémon in the active spot was an evolution or basic?
