Are Pokémon V, evolution pokémon?

Was just playing and I used the Supporter card Cheryl. She cured all pokémon even the basic V. Taking away their energy.

Did I miss something? All I wanted was to cure my Pokémon ex card.

Did I understand the rule wrong?

    Cheryl should not be healing basic Pokemon, ever. If it did (even Pokemon v), this is a glitch. What Pokemon v was this tho? Cheryl can and will heal Pokemon VMAX and vstar as well as stage 1 and stage 2 ex

    If a bug allows you to use Cheryl on Pokémon V it can be used as an exploit. I can see some bulky Pokémon V significantly benefit from it.

    That being true I can see Cheryl temporarily banned until it's fixed.
