Miss Fortune Sisters Doesn't Function?

Occasionally while using miss fortune sisters Item cards will be revealed that cannot be selected to be moved to the discard pile. The first time it happened my opponent revealed 2 level balls, I was only able to select one of which. A separate opponent revealed an Ultra ball and I was unable to select that.
Anyone else had this problem?

This just happened to me. It wouldn't let me select an item card. There was only one, a Nest Ball, but I could not click it. So frustrating!
