Used the attack to ko mew vmax.

They then escape roped then bossed and switched back into the original board state and ko the slowking.

But after attacking were not ko'd

It's not a bug, switching the active Pokémon removes that effect... it always did.

This is working correctly. Moving to the bench removes all lingering effects of attacks, which is why attacks like this are never meta-relevant. That's also why they played the Rope in the first place.
