Gardevoir EX - bug with attaching energy from discard

I ran into an issue today where the energy would attach from my discard only to the gardevoir ex and not let me attach it to other pokemon.
Debug tips incase any developers read this from a fellow developer:
I have played the last ~10 games with the deck and only my last game did i see this bug. I was playing against a fire deck, had my bench full of pokemon. I had cast a professors research earlier that turn, and i had 2 different gardevoir ex's on the bench, both with damage.
I also moved a gardevoir ex to my active spot, and still got the error.
