Card selection still broken

Any card that has 3 or more cards to choose from often blocks one of these cards and they can't be added to hand (Nest Ball, Battle VIP Pass, Colress's Experiment, Ultra Ball, Comfey). I would like to be refunded the three ranked games that I could not select critical cards in but instead lost with cards that I did not want to pick in hand.
