Offline version of Pokemon Bank and Pokemon UNITE

With Pokemon Bank and recently Pokemon UNITE's End of service being announced, couldn't The Pokemon Company at least put in the effort of making offline versions of these software so that they are preserved?

Pokemon Bank didn't even need to be an online service in the first place and wasn't even necessary. Transfers were built into the DS games before Pokemon Bank, so it is possible. Pokemon Bank could've just let people store Pokemon on the 3DS device. The Pokemon Company could release a software update to allow Pokemon Bank to function this way and also connect to Pokemon HOME via wireless LAN or some sort of local communication. The 3DS eShop is still up and you can re-download titles you already own and receive software updates for them, so they could theoretically do this. They could also sell a physical cartridge that contains an offline version of Pokemon Bank that includes Pokemon Transporter that comes with an additional cartridge slot with the cartridge to allow it to communicate with a DS or 3DS physical Pokemon game. I really hope The Pokemon Company considers this because Pokemon Bank is the bridge between the old Pokemon games and the new games. Transfers are truly an amazing feature that makes the Pokemon series so unique since you can transfer Pokemon from 2002 on the GBA to the latest games and keep travelling with them. It would be such a shame to lose that.

Pokemon UNITE already has a built in offline mode, so The Pokemon Company could release an offline version that just allows people to play local multiplayer and single player.
