What is your favorite starter from each region
Hi I'm newer to the forums, and if want I made post kind of introducing myself in the welcome and introductions section. Besides that this will be my first post.
What is your favorite starter from each region? You can explain why if you want to, but you don't have to.
Kanto- My favorite from Kanto is Bulbasaur. I like all the Kanton starters, but lately I've liked Bulbasaur the best.
Johto- Cyndaquill. I don't know why I like it the best, especially since alligators/crocodiles are my favorite animal( I also really like Totodile for this reason), but it's my favorite from Johto and my second favorite starter.
Hoenn- Mudkip! Mudkip is my favorite Pokémon, possibly because the first Pokémon game I played was Alpha Sapphire and it was my first Pokémon I picked, but I also really like it's colors and think it's cute and cool.
Sinnoh- Turtwig. I started really liking Turtwig after watching the diamond and pearl seasons of the show. I guess I just really liked Ash's Turtwig
Unova- Snivy. I actually really like Oshawott and Dewott, but I don't like the final form as much. For some reason I really like Snivy though( all three stages, and I don't like snakes).
Kalos- I'm actually not sure on this one. I really like Chespin, but not it's evolutions. I also like Fennekin and all it's evolutions, but between the two I don't know which one I like more.
Alola- Popplio. I like all three starters from Alola, but Popplio is my favorite.
Galar- Scorbunny. I really like Scorbunny and it's evolutions. Sobble is pretty close though.
Paldea- Fuecoco. Like I said alligators/crocodiles are my favorite animal plus it's really cute.
(Sorry if this is too long. It ended up being longer than I thought, and like I said I'm newer to the forums)

Kanto: Bulbasaur since I'd probably go Lapras for Water and Ninetales for Fire
Johto: Totodile. Nothing against the other two but I'm partial to the Water Croc
Hoenn: Mudkip. Water/Ground trivializes Hoenn given the few Grass opponents you'll face.
Sinnoh: Chimchar. Beats Blaziken at a Fire/Fighting type
Unova: Snivy. At a horrible disadvantage and has a solid alternative in Leavanny but I just like it.
Kalos: Fennekin. Down with the Frog
Alola: Litten because Popplio eventually becomes Water/Fairy and overlaps with Ice/Fairy Kitsune Goddess.
Galar: Grookey. Bang those drums
Paldea: Fuecoco, although with this one a case can be made for Sprigatito. Sprigs is fast and the Fire/Water alternatives are plentiful. Grass is pretty much Arboliva, Lilligant or Amoonguss(this one isn't half bad for Spore).

Idk for Kanto, never really had a favourite, they’re all pretty good
Cyndaquil (Not a great trio but S&F bumped up Hisuian Typhlosion a lot)
Torchic (I love the Hoenn trio but I had to pick one)
Piplup (Love the base, not really the evos but who cares it’s a Piplup)
Oshawott (Samurott breaks a lot of the line consistency but still the best of the trio)
Froakie (I will get destroyed for saying this but braces for death I like the Froakie line and Greninja)
Rowlet (The best-designed starter line imo despite not being my favourite, goes from Borb to shadow archer, what’s not to love?)
Scorbunny (Not a fan of this trio, but Scorbunny is a pretty good starter)
Sprigatito (Paldea is tough, I adore Quaxly but its evos are okay, Sprigatito has better evos imo)

Kanto: Charizard (that's my partner Pokemon!)
Johto: Feraligatr (not a fan of any of them though…)
Hoenn: I love Sceptile but I love Blaziken more
Sinnoh: INFERNAAAAAPE!!! INFERNAPE INFERNAPE INFERNAPE INFERNAPE!!!
Unova: Samurott is the only one I like from there. It's really cool and Dewott is adorable!
Kalos: DELPHOX!!! Genuinely no competition
Alola: All 3 are honestly good… But it's mostly split between Incinaroar and Decidueye. I genuinely can't decide between them
Galar: Inteleon is cool, but Cinderace is way better. Love the rabbit so much
Paldea: It is a tough choice because the entire Sprigatito line is amazing, but my love for just Quaquaval wins it. QUAQUAVAL FOREVER BABY!!!
Hisui: Hisuian Decidueye and Hisuian Samurott are both really cool… I'll choose Hisuian Samurott though (sorry to my pick of Rowlet)
