Could Ash and Pikachu return in their own side series while Pokémon Horizons remains the main anime?
After Ash became World Champion, his journey reached a satisfying milestone. However, in To Be a Pokémon Master, he continued pursuing his dream of befriending Pokémon around the world, leaving opportunities for new adventures.
I understand why some fans prefer Ash's open ending and want newer protagonists to receive the spotlight. However, what if Ash and Pikachu returned through their own recurring side series, while Pokémon Horizons remained the main anime? These adventures could explore new regions, reunite old companions, introduce new characters, and feature meaningful storylines without resetting Ash's achievements. It could also bring back some childhood nostalgia for longtime fans.
Would you support this kind of compromise, or would you prefer Ash's story to remain open-ended? If he returned, what adventures would you want to see?

I don’t think Ash will get another series, but I think he’ll make an appearance in Pokémon horizons
