What's a Pokémon you associate with a very specific memory?
There are Pokémon I can't see without immediately remembering where I was when I first caught one or who I was playing with at the time, or even reminds me of a point in my life where I just relate to their journey (Psyduck!). At this point the Pokémon and the memory are basically attached. Which one does that for you?

I have two
1.) Grimmsnarl. I found a Shiny GMax one time, got so excited, defeated it, tried to catch it, and... it escaped. So now Grimmsnarl just brings me rage
2.) Snorlax. Another G-Max thing I kept encountering SO MANY of them during the event and CONSTANTLY FAILED!!! It is just annoying...

Also quick bit of context I used to be obsessed with
hoardicollecting pokemon cards and I remember having very awful opinions on them.- Lumineon - I know it's a pretty forgettable pokemon but I got one of those cheap 60 randomly selected card packs when I was 8 and I remember opening it, finding a Lumineon V card. I thought I was gonna become rich and famous lol🤣 good memories honestly
- Ting-Lu and Mega Blastiose - I know that's a super wierd combination, but let me explain. I had a Mega Blastoise card that I didn't really want because I thought it was "too ugly" and my friend had a really pretty full-art Ting-Lu EX that I wanted. I wanted to give them my Cinderace V-Max but we were aggressively negotiating until I made the horrific decision of trading my Blastoise for that dang Ting-Lu
- The Typhlosion line - My first game was PLA and I chose Cyndaquil as my starter because why not. The evo line grew on me a bit and honestly my first run of PLA was one of the better playthroughs I've had.

I was gifted Pokemon Sun and Moon by a fellow I was dating and trained a litten into an Incineroar and it was a great "getting to know you" experience to see how we each played the game 🙃

I associate Zubat and Golbat with memories of wanting to throw my 3DS at the wall.

Probably Mew and Deoxys. I went to distribution events for both of them, and met a lot of other Pokémon fans. The Mew one I was quite young and they used a physical machine you inserted your cart into to transfer it. By the time of the Deoxys event it was FRLG with the wireless adapter so everyone simply had to be present in the location to download the event ticket. Much faster.
I remember my mum took me to the Mew one, and my dad took me to the Deoxys one at a cinema somewhere, so after everyone had figured out the triangle puzzle and caught their Deoxys, I went to watch a movie. I cannot remember the movie, but it obviously was contemporary with the Deoxys event in the UK.
