How Often Do You TCGP?
So you got the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (aka TCGP) game/app, but how often do you really play or go in-game?

Daily - Got to Catch'em All
It's become practically part of my daily schedule as I find myself logging in daily, opening the two free booster packs, looking through Wonder Picks, sharing with active friends (when I have duplicates they need, want or are unregistered in their dex), and looking through and liking community showcases.
Occasionally I battle, since it is fun and I do like earning those emblems, but I find myself more in the collecting aspect of the app/game.
How about you?

If you want to be F2P you need to do it every day. For the free packs, grinding hourglasses and shop tickets, shine dust, etc.

I agree and am F2P with TCGP as well.
Here's the thing though.... I actually enjoy playing the matches to earn those hour glasses, promo cards, emblems etc. The grind doesn't feel like a grind but more like a bit of fun. 🙂
(If I lose too much, then I try a different deck or deck build, however I'm more likely to just keep using my fav battle decks over and over since it's interesting to see how they go up against others' decks.)

It's good that you enjoy it but it is still a grind. Especially on days that you can't really be bothered you still need to keep it up if you want to collect everything.

True. I'm thankful they have a few extra events and the Deluxe Packs (both series A and now B) to help some of us latecomers to the game, get caught up. I may never have all of the full arts, emersion cards, crown cards, or shinies but it is fun trying and feels great when I get that card I wanted via a pack opening, share or trade.

TCG = Trading Card Game - physical tangible cards you have to purchase to use
TCGP = Trading Card Game Pocket - a FREE downloadable app for most mobiles. You can collect cards, build decks and play a quicker and slightly different version of the traditional TCG matches. The in-game tutorials teach you the basics.
TCG Live = Trading Card Game Live - a free downloadable game similar to TCGP but the cards mirror the traditional/actual cards, except it's in a digital format. Same rules as the traditional TCG matches and you can redeem codes you find in TCG booster packs, boxed sets, battle decks etc, to unlock more random cards for your TCG dex.
(Those are super simplified explanations. @DoubleCure is a much better expert at all this and the rules and differences and the nuances to the games than I am.)
