How does Lilligant evolve?? (No spoilers!!)

Without telling me what it evolves into can someone please explain how to evolve a Lilligant in Pokemon Shield?? I’m genuinely desperate here, a friend said by a Sun Stone but when i tried it was incompatible

    If you mean Petilil into Lilligant, yes it's a Sun Stone.

    But if you're trying to evolve Lilligant, you can't because Lilligant doesn't have a final stage evolution.
