Pokémon Sleep: Dream Link — My Idea to Connect Pokémon Sleep & Pokémon GO
I enjoy Pokémon Sleep, but I think it has the potential to become much more connected with Pokémon GO. My concept is called Pokémon Sleep: Dream Link. 🌙⚡
During the day, the Pokémon you choose as your Pokémon GO Buddy could become your Sleep Buddy at night. This would make your relationship with your Buddy continue from walking and exploring during the day to sleeping at night.
When you wake up, three Pokémon that visited your dreams could appear. You would choose ONE to keep, with a feature allowing that Pokémon to eventually be transferred to Pokémon GO. ✨ Shinies could also have a chance of appearing.
I’d also introduce a 7-Night Dream Streak. Complete seven nights of sleep research and, on Night 7, you’d have a chance—not a guarantee—of encountering a Legendary Pokémon among your choices. This would reward consistency without making Legendaries too easy to obtain.
I think this could make Pokémon Sleep feel like a true nighttime companion to Pokémon GO: walk and adventure with your Buddy during the day, sleep with your Buddy at night, and wake up to discover what visited your dreams.
The Pokémon GO Plus + already creates a connection between the two games, so I’d love to see that connection expanded.
