New Idea: What if the world of Pokémon was our world? What would change?

Not in the Pokémon GO sense, but, like, in a way that mattered. Would there be new factions and federations in the world? New conflicts and wars? New chasms? I'm losing my mind thinking about this idea. Writing some ideas down as we speak.

It's a really cool concept to think about. EVERYTHING would change. Pokémon pet ownership would need to be regulated for the really powerful types. It would change our daily lives. I'd be curious how my dog and cat would react to them X-D

It’d make things a lot more dangerous but quite fun. There’d be the constant threat of rampaging dragons (especially that one angry ~~Dragonfly~~ Dragonite), but people would have more tools to combat them. Owning Pokemon would be really fun and like having a very intelligent pet that can shoot lasers or smthn. Interactions with strangers would also be very different, and every walk in a park you take could lose you roughly £999999 if you’re not a strong trainer XD

Pretty much would become the world of Pokémon. Just have to watch it around certain Legendary Pokémon and note the location of Groudon and Kyogre(Ditto Palkia and Dialga if they're on our Dimension). Japan would be crazy though because 4 regions exist there lol.
