I just tested Morpeko in practice. Spoiler, it's broken.

Morpeko does absolutely absurd damage with Assurance and the cooldowns on its moves are practically nonexistent.

I have a pretty strong feeling it's gonna get emergency nerfs soon..

I haven't tried it yet in battle. He is a cutie though 😁, and reminds me of some people in real life with the whole HANGRY mode, LOL!

How cute is that little thing... I want to play it too, I just wish they added more supporters tho.

I make it a point to play as a supporter at least one match every night... If not a couple more. It's so much fun when we're three supporters too.

Thing with supporters is they're pretty hard to win with due to bad teammates. I just finished a match where I had to solo top lane with Eldegoss (and still did better than the three at bottom and 2v1'd a Greninja and Meowscarada be proud of me) and lost..

Did you call for backup or a "gather here"?

Maybe the other lane was getting rushed by oranges too which meant the other laners couldn't level up or do the dmg they needed to be able to.

It also depends on who was actually going against who and how well your teammates know those Pokemon. Lots of new licenses out there for everyone due to the past two months so lots of people learning what works and what doesn't, attks/moves timing and which held items to use...myself included. 🙂. But I don't do that in ranked, just in casuals or quicks.

Attackers tend to be squishier than supporters. My supporters are like mini tanks aka mini defenders. Jiggles, Meg, Clefable, Latias, Blissey, Eldegoss, and even Mr Mime (though I've only played him a few times). They can outlast most attackers however mine take longer to KO oranges due to their lower attk dmg (except a few do good attk dmg too).

Still, supporters can rock it 😎.

Agreed, isn't hard to win as a supporter, it depends on the team and your own gameplay.

Yeah I called for backup 3 times and no one responded, and the jungler went bottom and the orange jungler went top so my poor Lv. 3 Gossifleur somehow managed to KO a Lv. 5 Frogadier and with the level boost and the shields from the base I took down the Lv. 5 Floragato and the Riolu that showed up.

There weren't even any more opponents at bottom because I was 2v1ing the entire match
