what do you think about bots beating humans at pokemon
recent developments have shown that robots can now consistently perform stronger than humans at the top of the pokemon showdown ladders
what do you think of the robot uprising ? what would your approach be to curb or promote the use of bots in decision making and human competition ?
do you think this technology should be released to the public sooner or later ?

I see the word bot and I automatically think Comfey. I know, a different situation, but both leave a bad taste in my mouth.

i feel that this takes away the point of competition in the first place, if your not competing you are not showing your skills, if you care too much about winning you forget about the journey and the good experiences you could have had, competitions are supposed to be fun

I do not like the AI uprising at all, and I don't think that technology should be released to the public at all. AI has already proven not to be trustworthy when its guardrails are taken away, and as @clasingla said, it takes the fun out of competitions anyway.
AI, robots, and the like need to be put under serious control right now, and you can already see that bots are already taking people's jobs. We see it on YouTube and even in certain Pokemon games like UNITE.
I do not trust the AI industry at all..
