Basically it's Daggerheart but we swap out the Traditional Ancestry(ex: Orc, Human, Elf, etc.) for Pokémon(anything that isn't a Legendary, Mythical, Ultra-Beast or Paradox. If you pick Sylveon, you start as an Eevee and evolve at level 5(and again at 8 if you were a three stage Pokémon)).
Ancestry choice would normally give you two Ancestry perks. For Pokémon, they'd be your Ability and either a 2nd Ability or something custom based on Pokédex entries. The GM(Game Master) customizes it for Daggerheart. In addition you get two Pokémon moves you can use on top of your Domain cards and Equipment. These moves are from their learn-set and are typically within the first 15-20 levels(so moves like Pound, Scratch, Absorb, etc). You'd later be able to add new moves as a level up option, hence more decisions when the time comes.
Aside from that, it's effectively Daggerheart on a Forum. Normally we'd use a digital platform where rolls can be monitored but since this is custom, we just use honor system and real dice or online rollers. Besides.. who doesn't like Forum chaos.

Mostly roleplaying and occasionally rolling dice (you'll be told when you have to roll) (no need for physical dice, there's dice rolling websites and random number generators on the internet). Normally it's 2 12-sided die, one labeled Hope and the other Fear, but when using weapons you have to use other types. There's other stuff but you could probably just ask what they mean or what to do in the middle of the game, I've played 2 sessions and I still don't fully understand what Hope does and haven't needed to. You can look through Clasingla's discussions to see how we played.
