Discontinuing Pokemon Bank is a Mistake

Pokemon Bank is still used by many people and I think discontinuing the service will prevent many players from making the most of their pokemon games they've had for years. People make ribbon master pokemon, origin dex challenges and without bank all of these ways to play are gone.

    most definitely, worst decision of all time and it's really upsetting that half the games out wont be able to have their pokemon transfered.

    I really want to play older games but won't be able to bring my pokemon to the new ones which is REALLY annoying.

    I agree wholeheartedly. This company just keeps continuing to make anti-consumer decisions year after year.

    I understand why maintaining Pokémon Bank indefinitely may not be practical, especially as the Nintendo 3DS is an older platform and continuing to operate an online service brings security, maintenance, and infrastructure concerns.

    However, I would like to see an official offline preservation solution for Pokémon Bank. Something that allows players to retain and manage their Pokémon locally while still providing a way for Pokémon to be verified as legitimate and remain eligible for official competitive play. That would preserve the experiences built around older games without requiring The Pokémon Company and Nintendo to maintain the original online infrastructure indefinitely.
