Noivern's Ability appears to be bugged in Build & Battle

I encountered what seems to be a bug with Noivern in the Build & Battle game mode.

Noivern has the following Ability:

"If you have the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent, ignore all Energy in the cost of Frightening Howl used by this Pokémon."

On two separate occasions, I made sure I had the same number of cards in my hand as my opponent. However, Frightening Howl was still not highlighted or clickable, as if the Ability wasn't active.

Unfortunately, I don't have screenshots or a recording, but I've experienced this twice now.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, or am I overlooking another condition?

    This has happened to me on multiple occasions as well! and sometimes when it allows you to click it the attack doesnt go through and your character is locked and you cant do anything until it either is knocked out by the enemy or youre able to switch it out with a benched pokemon

    Since you encountered the same behavior more than once, Support would be the best place to have the Noivern Ability and Frightening Howl interaction looked into further.

    Give the tokens bug lost due to this idiotic bug. Nothing is more frustrating than losing paid tokens due to a bug!

    I have submitted a ticket to the PTCGL Support Team. There is still one week left before the end of the B&B Journey Together event, but I doubt this bug can be resolved before then.

    In the meantime, if you're affected by this bug, please leave a comment so the support team can see that this issue is affecting more people.
