documentation of my omega ruby playthrough
yesterday, i obtained a copy of pokemon omega ruby. so i may as well document my playthrough in hopes of getting to level 5 on these forums.
i have chosen treecko as my starter, because my friend told me to. since im an evil and extraordinarily intelligent hacker, ive already evolved him into a grovyle.
my current team is: grovyle, mightyena, and espeon.
the espeon is from a mystery gift, which i believe was distributed to celebrate a birthday, due to the fact that it has the discontinued (and useless) move Celebrate.

I’m glad I’m not the only one still playing the 3DS Pokémon games these days. I actually haven’t played ORAS before but I played Sapphire back in the day. I need to pick them up someday, I’ve heard they’re really good remakes.

Treecko isn't bad but the reason you go Treecko is because it puts Torchic with May(if you play as Brendan). Yet there's a reason Mudkip is just so good(you have virtually no Grass competition). You'll still want an Electric type, since Gyarados is still a monster.
Wish you luck. I got to repair my Yellow version but first part is getting the new battery.

I know what you mean. 2DS systems are still pretty cheap these days, but the prices for XLs (especially the new XLs) are utterly insane now. There’s other ways to play 3DS games these days, but unfortunately I can’t elaborate on what those are without breaking the forum’s rules.
