Deceptive Needle and Quick Growth
I was playing against the bots using a Caterpie deck with the Quick Growth ability. I went first and started with Caterpie in the Active Spot.
My opponent had a Darkness Pokémon that could deal 30 damage and also had a Deceptive Needle attached. The bot attacked Caterpie for 30 damage, and then Deceptive Needle applied the extra 10 damage, bringing Caterpie to 0 HP.
What surprised me was that, even though Caterpie had reached 0 HP, Quick Growth still activated and evolved it into Metapod instead of it being Knocked Out.
I’m not sure if this interaction is intended or if it’s a bug, but it seemed odd to me.
