Hide an sneak
Why do none of my attacks work against team rocket pokemon? Couldnt put any damage counter on them or spirit bomb them. I didnt see anything that should protect them.

are you sure they didn’t have Team rocket’s Articuno on bench?

And next time give a little credit. That articuno isnt the reason. Even though its not suppose to block damage.

Placing damage counter, which is what you said, is an effect of an attack, so Articuno would have blocked it.

I boss ordered their articuno an took him out before trying to attack an place damage counters. So no articuno.

Again, instead of assuming that its my first time playing pokemon and have the common sense to know how abilities work. An it didnt happen for the most obvious reason. Also articuno only works for basic team rocket pokemon. But just so its clear....no articuno on bench.
Why wouldnt my hide an seak attacks not work against team rocket??? Neither attacks worked. And i tried to spirit bomb 2 evolution pokemon at the end. Stage 1 an stage 2. No special energy on them. Nothing that i saw protecting them from it.

I dont bother saving battle logs or any of it anymore. Pointless. Sending in a ticket is just a waste of time and just ends up fustrating you more.
But the match was just basic match. Opponent used team rocket meotwo an evolving golbat for damage counters. Used boss orders to take down articuno, an continued discarding hide an sneak pokemon. Once i had enough in the discard i moved to start putting damage counters on all his pokemon. But it didnt work, the animation was just like if articuno was on the bench at they ignored the attack. Went back to doing damage with basic attacks. They had evolved their zubat an golbat up to stage 1 and stage 2, thats who i intended on using spirit bomb on. But my next turn when i tried to use spirit bomb it just ignored that attack as well. They had no energy on them. The stadium was prizm tower. An as i said, even if they had articuno on their bench or the game was still registering it as on the bench, it should not of stopped the attack against their evolved pokemon.
