What’s the point?

What’s the point of submitting feature requests and bug reports? Nothing ever gets implemented. It seems like this game is no longer actively developed, considering we haven’t received a meaningful update or even any quality-of-life upgrades in what feels like six to nine months or longer.

There are features that have been requested since the game’s inception by an overwhelming majority of the community that have never been mentioned, acknowledged, or implemented.

  • Dark mode
  • Universal pack points
  • Skip animations button
  • Optimization
  • Increase deck size
  • Increase decks limit
  • Increase binder limit
  • Improve Wonder Pick
  • New content/game modes
  • Reduce the number of screens and taps required
  • Burn/crafting mechanic for duplicates
  • Improved RNG
  • Reduce the number of coin flips
  • Better rewards for winning matches

When basic QOL features that have been requested since the game’s inception remain ignored, it tells us that the developers don’t care about the game or the players. They don’t respect us or our time. They only care about making money.
With the last major update, we were told that card acquisition was improved. That was a key part of the announcement. Yet, if anything, it’s worse now. The number of 3-diamond or 1-star cards in each set has increased dramatically which makes it exponentially more difficult to complete sets. Sure, we could trade to complete the set—if we had a reliable and consistent way of obtaining shine dust… but we don’t. If we’re lucky enough to complete a set, then we’re left at the mercy of having to Wonder Pick to try to get rare cards, which already has an incredibly low success rate. Aside from that, WP only ever has the same couple of cards thoughout the duration of the set. It seems like it picks 2 rare cards to offer (out of the dozen or so in the set), and it offers one of those every single time. 24hr WPs also used to generate every 48hrs, but that has slowly crept up to ~72hrs recently. How exactly is all this supposed to be an improvement?

DeNA admitted they were struggling with player retention. That is quite clear when you look at the decrease in the number of posts on this site. Does everything I mentioned really seem like a good way to retain players? People are tired of being exploited and waiting for updates/upgrades that are nowhere in sight. DeNA hasn’t even provided an update to the community in more than 6 months. They clearly don’t care about this game and are just coasting until the money printer finally runs out.

Tbh OP is mostly correct... the players' suggestions rarely get implemented... and if they do, it usually takes too long.

I'm talking about simple things... like the mute button took about 2 years in TCG Live? or in TCG Pocket players have been asking since launch to increase Binders and Deck slots...

Again, these are simple things, not new big features.
