Pokken Tournament 2! ... Again. BUT THIS TIME BETTER DEVELOPED!!!

Yes, I talked about this in the past

In fact, I will be copy and pasting my original post ideas into here

HOWEVER!!!

I have had more plot ideas and I want to be able to look at all in one post, not have to go through many comments

Also, if you have any ideas or want something you think could improve it I'd love to hear it!

Here is the copy/paste:

Maybe a new category for the fighters (Standard, Speed, Power, Technique)

I don't know what the new category would be, but I think it would be cool to get new one

Also, we need a new plot

What if there's an outburst of Shadow Pokémon?

We could dive deeper into the lore of the land!

As for the roster, I already said I want to keep the original but I want to change just one

Braixen

It's never made sense why we got Braixen instead of Delphox!

But now Delphox has a Mega, so it can replace Braixen in the roster and when it Synergy Bursts it Mega Evolves

(It is kind of like Aegislash but has a different set up)

I think it would be cool if you can choose if you're the male or female one, though

Support Pokémon

Remember these guys?

Two Dittos (One copies the opponent's support Pokémon and gives you that effect while the other gives you all stat changes the opponent currently has)

How about all the Eeveelution get a Support Pokémon role?

We currently have Eevee, Umbreon, and Espeon

Sylveon could give a stat boost (probably Attack or Speed)

Flareon attacks with either Fire Blast or Flamethrower (I don't know which)

What if Vaporeon turns into water and covers you, giving a Defense boost?

Jolteon is one that combos up and can help with combos, using Pin Missiles (or maybe helps deal a fast blow with Quick Attack? I'm not sure)

Glaceon blows some frost out, freezing the opponent if it gets hit.

Lefeon deals damage with Leaf Blade

I also think it would be cool to have a Zoroark as a Support

It creates an Illusion of you that does its own thing

It doesn't deal damage but it can confuse the opponent to have two opponents rushing in to strike and don't know which is real

Zacian and Zamazenta as Support

Zacian gives big attack boost while the other does the same thing but defense

They both have a long cool down time, though

Tyranitar as a Support (it uses Sand Tomb, constantly vdamaging enemies that pass through it and decrease their speed)

Bulbasaur and Oshawatt for Support

B uses Vine Whip to hit once, then again, grab, then slam the target

O throws the shell on its chest and then uses Aqua Jet to where the shell is

New Battle Mode

1v1v1v1 (Four players battle it out. No teams. Every person for themselves. You get three lives so that it doesn't end too quickly)

Double Battle (You play as a Pokémon with a teammate against an opposing team. First team to have both players defeated lose)

One thing I'd love to see for a potential Pokken 2 are… Mystery Dungeon Characters! Specifically…

  • Alakazam or Tyranitar to represent Rescue Team
  • Wigglytuff or Grovyle to represent Explorers
  • Hydreigon or Virizion to represent Gates to Infinity
  • Ampharos or Mawile to represent Super Mystery Dungeon

I think those would be very cool picks!

(This one deserves credit to @Rileytheriolu93. I think those would be good as Support pairings)

Now the updates:

The Double Battle I think could use a bit more description, but the one I've thought about more is the 1v1v1v1

Each player gets 3 lives since this would be so hectic and you'd probably die quite a few times

What I don't know if I want, though, is each life is a different Pokemon or all one Pokemon

Anyways, for both the Double and 1v*4 you can choose if you want to play with Phase Shifts and Support Pokemon

They both also allow online play

There would be new maps as well

I've also thought more about plot

I briefly touched it in the old post, but I was more focused on the roster than story

So as I had stated there has been an outbreak of Shadow Pokemon

Nobody knows why or how, but they are getting attacked by Pokemon covered in Shadows that rampage through cities and towns

I'm thinking these Pokemon spawn randomly across the map and are separate from the tournament that you battle in to become Champion

The Champion Tournament will work similarly to DX's

But the Champion of this game is not the same as the first

I kinda want it to be the MC of the first game using your saved data but I don't know if they can make that happen…

Especially because I bet they would make this Switch 2 exclusive and I don't think Pokken Tournament is connected to Cloud

Anyways, there is also a mysterious organization that has been using Shadow Pokemon, seeming to harness the power, giving their Pokemon more strength but it also pains their Pokemon

These people will randomly appear in battles against you as you work your way up to Champion

They are harder and more powerful but give you more EXP after defeating them

They also reveal more plot in dialog when you win

I do want to keep some of the characters from the first game, too, but I don't know how they would be included

Anyways, every single Pokemon in the roster would have a Shadow form with different attacks and sometimes roles than their normal version

For example, normal Blaziken is Standard but Shadow Blaziken would be Power

As for the level up system and stat distribution I want the same as the first game

I want more cosmetic options than the first game

For the title, I'm thinking:

"Pokken Tournament: Championship of the Shadows"

So…
