It's easy because the game lacks abilities(something that is inexplicably absent) and has the Co-op mode that permits 2v1. The only double battle is against Team Rocket and they are easy because Poison is easy to counter. Plus your Partner Pokemon can carry you through half the game. It's not until you start facing evolved Pokemon that their power starts to wane but if you power up on candy, then you really have nothing to worry about. Trace is also a joke compared to Blue but maybe I'm just partial to Yellow version(the game it's based on).

To me, if you wanted to introduce someone to Pokemon, you would do so with Generation 9. Majority of Trainer battles are optional unlike previous Generations where a new player can get stuck fighting a Trainer they didn't mean to by walking into their line of sight and wild encounters can largely be avoided due to the overworld style(try avoiding Zubat in a tunnel in older generations…). Yes there's Terrastilization but the AI only uses it on their Ace(generally making things easier save for one Gym Leader in Iono. Electric Mismagius with Levitate is extremely clever). Geeta's the easiest Champion due to her order. She changes in Post-Game but you are judged on first impression and she fails there.

Let's Go PEE was a cynical cash grab to try and capitalise more directly on the Pokémon Go fad, as they have to share their profits with Niantic for the app. Of course such a game would HAVE to be Kanto to market to all the genwunners and millennials, but it wasn't even a true 3D remake in narrative or game play. The fad was fading even before the games released, and I doubt it would have been so successful if the governments of the world hadn't decided to lock everyone in their homes with nothing to do.

Even when the game was heavily discounted I was never tempted to buy it.

no idea. He was mainly into Go, and so was my brother. Then one day he just stopped (mysterious music plays). My brother played for like one more year then just started disliking Pokemon 😒 besides gengar.

    Welp, that just turned popular

Also sorry to the people who don’t read that much! I’m just making a question about it and if people still play the game only because I still play the game and I think this game is just… forgotten.

You’re not the only one trying to complete the Pokédex in that game, I just need to trade A LOT of Pokemon to mostly complete it.
