@clasingla wanted to ask you a question on ancestry. For reference:
Species - Alolan Vulpix
Snow Warning - once per 1d4 long rest you may create a snowstorm within close range
Snow bundle - gain +2 evasion while in snowy area (based on let’s go entry )
So I have to roll a D4 to use Snow Warning and what effect does the roll outcome have? How quickly it recharges? Snow Bundle is an interesting quirk. Feels like Snow Cloak but that name will work.
As for moves, again for reference
Powder Snow - Ice deals 1d4 mag damage roll a d10 on a 10 your opponent is also frozen
Tail Whip - temporarily lowers your opponents damage threshold by 1
Powder Snow can hit multiple/adjacent targets in Double battles. Any thoughts on adding that? Also I recommend a combat range of Close to as much as Far for Powder Snow and Melee for Tail Whip.

i feel like range for powder snow should really determine if it hit multiple targets if we do it from very close range i would be fine with powder snow hitting multiple targets though if we are doing it from a farther ranger i feel that would be a bit too powerful

While I'm inclined to agree, I must point out the Ranger's Hope Feature. Costs 3 Hope or one more than a Pokemon move but...
Ranger’s hope feature
Hold Them Off: Spend 3 Hope when you succeed on an attack with a weapon to use that same roll against two additional adversaries within range of the attack.
That implies to me that if you target a Pokemon at a range of 12 that if there are any opponents within that range that they too would be subject to that same attack.
That's how id make moves like Powder Snow, Icy Wind, Swift or any move that hits multiple targets. Moves like Surf, Earthquake or moves that hit Allies would be subject to Friendly Fire.
Also Pokemon moves aren't subject to Proficiency like Weapons so we can't have 6D4 Ice Damage against multiple targets when we hit level 8.

Yeah but I forgot to add(and just edited in) that Pokemon moves don't benefit from Proficiency(hence weapon or domain spells can deal more damage), hence a Ranger would be open to using it to get way more damage at higher levels. Plus Caspian our Ranger has a Longbow. I think that's worth the Hope Feature over Swift given how far it can strike

It's Pokemon Daggerheart. Table Top Role Playing Game or TTRPG for short with a Pokemon twist.
