Bug Report - Klefki's Memory Lock resolves improperly against Mega Zygarde ex

I'm unsure if this affects other interactions, or if it is specific to the Build and Battle mode for Perfect Order, I have not tested extensively:

Steps to replicate:

  1. Player 1 uses Mega Zygarde ex's "Gaia Wave" attack (in my example it knocked out my active Doublade POR 56).
  2. Player 2 promotes Klefki POR 59.
  3. Player 2 uses Klefki's Memory Lock attack.

Expected outcome: Klefki's attack does 0 damage due to the effect of Gaia Wave, prompt selection appears for Player 2 to select an attack to disable.

Actual outcome: Klefki's attack does 0 damage, attack resolves with card shake and no further action, no attacks are disabled.

It appears the game logic is ignoring secondary effects of Memory Lock when the attack fails to do damage. Again, I am unsure whether this is a specific interaction or a failure in overall game logic. I have not tested whether this bug also occurs when attacking a Pokémon that has a -30 metal resistance, or one that is affected by Full Metal Lab.

Maybe Mega Zygarde has Rocky Energy?

Dang, you're probably right actually. I don't remember exactly what it had attached but thats likely what it was. Haven't played against rocky energy enough to remember that effect!
