Pokémon games are full of decisions, both big and small. And sometimes it’s easy to get stuck thinking too far ahead. What’s a decision you find yourself overthinking in Pokémon games?

    How to treat my rival and people I meet that are nice

    Sarcastic, blunt, kind…

    It isn't the real me so I'm like "Great! You can be as rude as you want!"

    But then I'm like "But that's rude!"

    And then I say "But it's not the real you!"

    And I reply "But this person is trying to be nice"

    And then I roll my eyes and go "This isn't even a real person, dude!"

    But then I yell "BUT IT'S RUDE!!!"

    I then choose the nice options because I couldn't bring myself to be mean to an NPC…

    I know how you feel. A lot of times I'll be rude just to see what will happen. This came back to bite me during the post-game Team Star thing in Scarlet and Violet. I gave everyone the most unhelpful advice possible, and they actually took it. It ended up being very depressing.

    I probably usualy overthink my team, but sometimes I underthink my teams. Sometimes I make very specific teams where I may choose Pokemon from a specific region, or Pokemon of a specific gender, and making sure there is proper type balancing. And sometimes I may just beat the game with Pokemon from the first few routes. Yeah…

    I overthink my team's type matchups and stats. I had the chance to but ended up not using three of my favorite Pokemon, Golisopod (I already had 3 bug types), Falinks (I didn't know it was catchable), and Sirfetch'd (it was a regional form that wasn't as good as the original, and it didn't have first impression, the one strong thing about fetch'd)

    The decision of what to play... like predicting the next few moves/turns and overanalyzing every single scenario.

    I find myself constantly trying to plan for every possible outcome multiple steps ahead (but all of this is done pretty fast and almost automatically sometimes), which often leads to a positive outcome.

    Team. Definitely My Team, because I think, I need the best Pokemon on every route
