Using Slowking works half the time

Using Annihilape's destined fight when I seek inspiration with Slowking sometimes results in tantrum being used instead… This has happened multiple times and has resulted in game-losing board states. Is there anything I can do about the interaction besides not playing the card?

The issues with Slowking and Annihilape are well known... devs are aware of it, but as of today a fix is still nowhere to be seen.
