Mist Energy Bug (?)
Why does Mist Energy block Mega Gardevoir EX’s Mega Symphonia, but not Mega Charizard X EX’s Inferno X?
Is this a bug?
If this isn’t a bug, please explain the ruling 😵💫

Mist energy should not block mega symphonia. You almost certainly confused it with another effect.
Do you remember what pokemon the mist energy was attached to?

It was definitely a fighting deck and I’m fairly certain it was either a Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon EX or a Mega Zygarde EX.
Is there any other card that could have blocked my Mega Symphonia?
The vision effect that blocked my attack looked like the 1 of 3 block attack effect from Pokémon Go, if that makes sense. Like a hexagon block.
It was so good I added mist energy to my deck and it didn’t block Inferno X.So, the mist energy should have not blocked my Mega Symphonia, I knew it! I was so upset I ended up surrendering cause there was nothing I could do!

It's possible that your opponent used acerola's mischief, which protects 1 pokemon from an attack from a pokemon ex.
