I think we could do a cool Water/Fire type with that Fire Salamander

Also, it looks like there are quite a few predatory birds in Germany, so could we use Staraptor?

    I found an interesting tale

    The Aufhocker

It is a shape shifter that protects people (in simple terms)

So what about a regional variant Ditto?

    @UnovanZorua

Can I change Quaxly to Poplio?

German flok lore has Sirens, and I have a regional Primarina based on Sirens already made!

    It's Water/Dark

Wait, but then we would be very similar to PLA...

    Folk lore according to Google:

Here are key creatures from German folklore:

Krampus: A horned, demonic figure who punishes misbehaving children during the Christmas season, often accompanying Saint Nicholas.

Kobold: A type of goblin or spirit that can be mischievous or helpful, often living in household settings or mines.

Wolpertinger: A Bavarian creature featuring a "mashup" of parts from various animals, including a rabbit with wings and antlers.

Elwetritsche: Bird-human hybrids inhabiting the forests of the Palatinate region.

Lorelei: A beautiful water spirit (siren) who sits on a rock on the Rhine River, singing songs that lure sailors to their deaths.

Weisse Frauen (White Women): Ghostly, beautiful figures in white gowns often found haunting old castles.

Aufhocker: A terrifying shape-shifting spirit that jumps on people's backs.

Rübezahl: A giant or mountain spirit who rules the Riesengebirge mountains.

Tatzelwurm: A lizard-like creature with a cat-like head that lives in the Alps.

Foyamon (Glowing Man): A type of fiery ghost or skeleton doomed to wander the living world.

Knecht Ruprecht: A traditional, harsh companion to Saint Nicholas, similar to Krampus, who punishes children.

Fáfnir: A dwarf who transformed into a greedy worm/dragon, often featured in German heroic legend.

Witches (Hexen): Central to German folklore, believed to gather on the Harz Mountains (Broken) during Walpurgisnacht on April 30th.

These creatures, along with others like dwarfs and trolls, often serve to explain the mysteries of the natural world or provide moral lessons.

What if the White Women are Ghost/Fairy types?
