If we go based off the location that each made after, Kanto-Sinnoh should share the language of Japanese

Unova speaks American English

Kalos speaks French

Does Hawaii have its own language… Well if it does, that's what Alola speaks

Galar is British English (Leon has a British Accent!)

And Paldea speaks Spanish

But this leads me to the question of how did Ash travel the globe without ever struggling due to language barrier?

So let's just say he can speak every language, he would have to be fluent in every language to speak to and understand others

Knowing Ash, though, I can't see that being true!

And then you have the new protagonists that all travel the globe

Are they just fluent in everything, too?

It's just not logical, especially when there has never been any sign of different languages, just normal and seemingly same language conversations
