Champions stick sensitivity

Using Stick controls to move around in the UI while playing Champions is currently made to be extremely sensitive.

If you even so much as touch the left stick in a menu or during selection in battles (preview, moves, Pokémon, targets etc.), it moves you around and it just feels incredibly prone to causing mistakes.

This has not been a problem in the vast majority of other Pokémon games, because there seems to be a bit of resistance built into UI stick-controls, meaning you actually have to push the stick a bit further than the slightest bit for it to register.

There are situations where I have literally attacked my own Pokémon, because when I moved to the right to select the target, I must have also very slightly moved it down. But even just generally, any time there are multiple directions to move in the UI, you easily find yourself awkwardly moving to the side while trying to just go up/down etc.

I've asked multiple friends and they all feel it, I've seen people streaming the game where they accidentally move in the UI in ways they didn't mean to, while they're fighting the stress of the battle timer. I will not be surprised when we start hearing stories of people misplaying in a major battle at an event, because their controls slipped in a way they didn't want them to.

…on that note, I also don't understand why the right-stick doesn't function as an alternate stick for direction-controls in this game (Sword and Shield did that during menus and battles and it was great - Scarlet and Violet removed it due to right-stick serving for camera controls, but in Champions it just does nothing).
