Pechurunt's Mochi chemistry
Bang! amazing new discovery about the Pokemon pechurunt's mochi! Pechurunt's mochi contain Tropane alkaloids which are bicyclical molecules that force psychosis on victims.
You did not understand anything I just said, but if you bear with the nerd in me, I will explain. Tropane alkaloids are often dangerous neurotoxins that can cause various concerning effects. One of the most dangerous examples of these is a wild plant called datura stramonium which contains Atropine, a powerful Tropane alkaloid, and Hyoscymine and Scopolamine: products of Hydroxylation and esterification respectively. Atropine works by blocking muscarinic receptors preventing the heart and metabolism from slowing down and resting, running off your own stored energy Hyoscamine can induce short term memory loss, just like we see in the epiloge. Scopolamine, the last Tropane Alkaloid on the list of toxins in datura stramonium, can often trigger psychosis, which can make you get a little off, having hallucinations and often feeling overwhelming artificial desires! You know how the loyal three have those chains of toxins around them? Well bicyclical molecules have rings of molecules fused together to form a chain! I hope you appreciated this theory and please participate in feedback or questions! Thank you!
