Attention Trainers,
We want to keep you updated on player-reported bugs and issues that affect Pokémon TCG Live. This isn't a complete list of everything being tracked or worked on, but a list of issues reported here on our forums, online, and through our Support Team.
The Team is working hard to resolve these issues, and we greatly appreciate your patience and continued diligence in reporting issues when they arise!
Incoming Fixes
Gameplay/Battle
- Players may occasionally encounter instances in which valid cards are prevented from being selectable during a search action.
Card Logic
- Mega Audino ex’s (ASC #172) Kaleidowaltz attack erroneously initiates an unnecessary deck search when all 3 coin flips landed on tails.
- Vivillon's (POR #009) Grand Wing Ability incorrectly allows damage from its Blow Through attack to be unaffected by Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex's (TWM #112) Cornerstone Stance Ability while in the Active Spot.
- Antique Jaw Fossil (POR #068) incorrectly has the option to discard it from play disabled while on the player’s Bench.
- Using Slowking's (SCR #058) 'Seek Inspiration' attack to copy Annihilape's (SSP #100) 'Destined Fight' attack while Boomerang Energy (TWM #166) is attached results in the game entering a soft-lock state and the attack not continuing.
General
- Owned and Rarest Owned deck import settings do not consistently import unowned copies of cards from the deck list.
Known Issues
Gameplay/Battle
- Card effects that reparent or attach energy from the Hand display an inaccurate prompt for the opposing Player.
- Players are occasionally unable to place or move cards after disconnecting from and re-connecting to a network.
- Test Deck AI may occasionally use cards that are not part of the current legal format when testing a deck in the Standard Deck Manager.
- Area Zero Underdepths' (SCR #174) effect causes the Bench to not be completely visible on Galaxy Flip devices.
- Some Battle Log entries, such as the damage source for Parasect's (TEU #7) 'Panic Spores' Ability, display incorrect information.
- Some cards may occasionally appear flipped, magenta, or with an incorrect texture in instances where the asset has failed to load or the connection is unstable.
- Restarting the game application can, in some cases, resolve this and result in cards displaying properly.
- Players are encountering issues such as freezing or disconnections at an increased rate while in matches.
Card Logic
- Certain card effects that involve taking multiple prize cards and resolve with effects that allow the Player to take an extra prize card, such as Chansey's (MEW #113) 'Lucky Bonus' Ability, cause the 'prize cards taken' counter to increment which affects certain card effects.
- Glimmora ex's (OBF #123) 'Dust Field' Ability does not activate properly when certain Ability suppression effects are active and are being actively suppressed, such as with Stealthy Hood (UNB #186) on the playmat.
- Jumpluff's (EVS #004) 'Fluffy Barrage' Ability bypasses attack suppression effects when Jumpluff has access to other attacks through certain attachments, such as Technical Machine: Blindside (PAR #176).
- Players who take an extra turn via an attack effect, such as Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR's (ASR #114) 'Star Chronos’ attack, and are subsequently KO'd by another attack along with the opposing Player's active Pokémon do not promote their Pokémon to the active spot in the correct order.
- Special Energy with restrictions, such as Impact Energy (CRE #157), that are attached to Pokémon through an attack or Ability that does not match that restriction, are discarded before any opposing effects that are related to energy attachment activate.
General
- Players often do not receive notifications when a User disconnects and/or reconnects from a match.
- Players cannot exit the client or change to Windowed mode on landscape devices without using keyboard shortcuts during login, loading screens or in a match.
- Players occasionally experience duplicate account issues when migrating or redeeming codes within Pokémon TCG Live.
- Players may occasionally encounter purchase errors within the Battle Pass when using Trainer Points, as well as and when using Trade Credits in the Deck Manager.
- Occasionally, when reaching different Prestige tiers, the Ranked Ladder emblem will disappear next to the Player's name in the Profile page.
