thats a bit of a stretch with that same logic i can say that rhythem heaven is related to monster hunters
since your logic plus mario is related to zelda because of link to the past (this might be the wrong game but i know its in a zelda game) has mario like figure as dad
also zelda has enemies that are like kirbo trying to eat everything in that one zelda game i forgot about so its related to kirby
kirby is the main character in super smash bro's so that means all character in smash bros are in the same universe meaning megaman is in that universe
in a megaman comic there was a big crossover with archie sonic and at the end of that a lot of franchises came in including monster hunters
so with that logic rhythem heaven is related to monster hunters
so in short your logic is saying if i have a friend of a friend of a fried of a friend that i have never met their still my friend because they are a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend which is probably not the case

I actually do research on this random stuff randomly and probably know more lore for this stuff then anyone here
