(This feels like when we used to pick teams when playing soccer or basketball during recess in grade school, LOL)

😃ME TOO!!!! (I was usually the only girl playing back then, but I was NEVER last picked 😉. Lol, in grade school, sometimes they let the grass & weeds get so tall that someone would hide in it and jump out and steal the ball. We actually didn't always play by the rules... hee hee lots of tripping and elbows and no, we wouldn't be crying on the ground like you see some of the professional people who fake it do... but one rule that was a definite no-no was the "hands" rule. Absolutely no hands or we'd all be yelling "HANDS!!!" Ahhhh memories! And yes, one year the school co-ed team I was on was undefeated 😎)

Weeeellllll, daily recess was a free for all, with only some actual positions played, (I enjoyed being a forward but was way to short to be a goalie) somehow I ended up being a defender on the school teams (mid field and also around the goalie)(wow, I can't remember if that was the actual position name, pardon my ignorance). I loved when the ball would come flying in my direction and I got to block it by using my knees to get it moving in the opposite direction, the bounce... Head bounces always made me feel woooozzzzyy only did it when necessary, and yeah, I've got the wind knocked out of me a few times defending the goalie by taking a ball to the midsection)
