Animations are making me motion sick

I know it is not actually a bug, but some of the ongoing animations are making me motion sick.

Please provide the ability to turn off these animations!

    The motion of the playfield animations is distracting, but the worst part is many have a slight flicker occasionally. There is a brief flash in the loop of the animation.
